A short reflection on the winter intensive: embodiment practices, interpersonal feedback, and the difference between insight and integration.
Our winter intensive closed with a simple reminder: insight is cheap if it does not change how we listen. Across several days we worked with somatic tracking, perspective-taking dialogues, and written reflections on the marriage of states, stages, and shadow.
Participants reported that the most durable shift was not a new concept, but a slower nervous system — enough room to feel disagreement without collapsing into defense. That is the kind of progress that rarely looks dramatic and almost always matters.
